Israeli media reported that an Israeli soldier was lightly wounded by gunfire targeting a group of settlers who demonstrated at a settlement south of Nablus in the West Bank.

The same sources said that large forces of the occupation army began conducting searches, combing operations and raids on Palestinian villages in search of the perpetrator of the operation, in the vicinity of the shooting site.

It is noteworthy that dozens of settlers were demonstrating under the protection of the occupation forces near the southern entrance to the city of Nablus, in protest against what they described as being subjected to violence by the Palestinians.
