An event was held in which refugees and international students who settled in Japan from overseas presented their worries about life and future dreams in Japanese, and the Cambodian team worked to improve the learning environment for foreign children. I talked about my aspirations.

This event was held in Tokyo by the Asian Welfare and Education Foundation, a public interest incorporated foundation that engages in support activities for refugees, in order to deepen understanding among foreigners such as refugees living in Japan. A total of 6 teams from Myanmar participated.

Of these, the Cambodian team said, "When we came to Japan when we were in elementary school or junior high school, we first encountered the 'Japanese language barrier.' Some people have memories of being left behind."

Based on these experiences, he expressed his aspirations to cooperate with local communities to improve the learning environment for foreign children living in Japan.

Masahiro Fujiwara, chairman of the foundation that organized the event, said, "The number of foreigners living in Japan has increased, so I want to create a society where Japanese and foreigners can live together in harmony."
