President Ebrahim Raisi on Sunday accused Iran's "enemies" of "conspiring" to isolate his country and said their attempts had "failed" as anti-government protests sparked by the death of Mahsa Maini entered their third week.

"As the Islamic Republic was overcoming economic problems to become more active in the region and in the world, the enemies entered the game with the intention of isolating the country, but they failed in this conspiracy" , he said according to a press release from the presidency.
