Police say 125 people have been killed so far in riots after a professional football league match in Indonesia.

Supporters of the losing team entered the ground, and the police fired tear gas, causing chaos, and President Joko ordered a thorough investigation into the cause.

According to Indonesian police, some spectators entered the ground after a professional soccer league match on the night of the 1st at a stadium in Malang, East Java.

In response, the police fired tear gas, causing panicked spectators to collapse, and police announced that 125 people had died so far.

According to the police, only supporters of the losing team were allowed to enter the match, and about 40,000 people were watching, of which about 3,000 people entered the ground.

A supporter who was watching the game and left the stadium before the chaos broke out testified that the tear gas had reached the outside of the stadium, saying, ``My eyes hurt so much, my throat hurts like it was dry. Last year, the police fired tear gas during a game, and why did the riot break out again?"

Another man who visited the stadium to help his son who was watching the game said, "Many supporters entered the ground to express their disappointment at losing the match. Police fired tear gas into the stands. Because it was launched, some people fled to the ground and the confusion spread further."

In a speech on the 2nd, Indonesian President Joko Widodo said, ``We must prevent such a tragedy from happening again,'' and instructed the police to thoroughly investigate the cause, such as whether there were any problems with the security situation.
