"It was a very rare day to see my mother performing official duties as a field manager," said Benitz, recalling the time she met her mother.

In 2010, when she was appointed the first female firefighter in her area, Rogers was assigned to the same site as her daughter after the sudden news of the fire while she was working as a lifeguard at another site on the day of the fire.

As she was performing her duty on that day as the one responsible for monitoring the condition of other firefighters, she heard a familiar voice in her ears, Rogers.

Rogers said that the day he met his daughter at the scene was an unusual day, given that the fire department to which the daughter belonged is usually about 90 minutes away from her jurisdiction and the wide range of wildfires at the time of the Washington fire.

A mother and daughter who met by chance at the scene left a photo, and Benitz shared the photo on social media to convey her heart to her mother.

"It's a huge blessing to be able to do this," Benitz said. "It's even more fortunate to have such a huge person next to me. My mom makes me a better person every day," Benitz shared her photo.

In an interview with ABC News, she told ABC News that Benitz said she was "her mother is a single mom of three daughters, but she's been constantly developing her career in this field, and she's done the best for us." said.

"When Benitz was three or four years old, I was in paramedic school," Rogers said in an interview. "Benitz held up a picture card and explained to me and shared what I was studying," she said. said no.

Rogers continued, "Everyone should pursue their passion. For our mother and daughter, our passion is 'fire fighting' and 'helping others'." "I want other women to know that anyone can become a firefighter. There is nothing. It is an honor to be able to serve someone."
