In connection with the upcoming autumn conscription for military service, he commented on the increasing cases of attacks and arson of military registration and enlistment offices.

Tsimlyansky added that the spring conscription had already been held in the face of extremist actions by individual citizens, including arson of military enlistment offices, intimidation of conscripts and their parents by spreading unreliable reports in the media.

“Let me remind you that these actions are regarded as acts of terrorism or as public calls for the implementation of terrorist activities,” he said.

According to Tsimlyansky, criminal liability in the form of imprisonment for a term of 15 years is provided for this.

According to the presidential decree, the autumn call will be carried out from November 1 to December 31, 2022. 

Earlier it became known that in Novosibirsk they tried to set fire to the military registration and enlistment office using Molotov cocktails.

Later, a suspect in attempts to organize arson of military registration and enlistment offices in Novosibirsk was taken into custody for two months.

The Ust-Ilimsk city court also arrested a 25-year-old man who had wounded the military commissar of Ust-Ilimsk and the Ust-Ilimsk region Alexander Eliseev until the end of November.
