SVT's correspondent: It is difficult to see Ukraine joining NATO in the short term

Zelensky also said he hoped for a quick process.

But becoming part of NATO is not an overnight process.

SVT's David Boati finds it difficult to see Ukrainian NATO membership in the near future.

- If Ukraine becomes a member of NATO tomorrow, it would be NATO against Russia, and then we have this escalation that nobody wants, he says in Aktuellt.
