Russian intelligence says they already have some evidence pointing to a role of the West in organizing and carrying out the explosions that knocked out the Nord Stream pipelines.

This was stated by the head of the Russian external intelligence service

, according to what the news agency Ria Novosti reported today. 

"We already have some materials that point the western trail in the organization and implementation of the terrorist attack" on the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines, said SVR head Sergey Naryshkin.

"In my opinion, the West is doing everything to hide the real perpetrators and organizers of this terrorist attack," he added. 

United States on Nord Stream: "Investigations must first be completed"

"Only once the investigation into the nature of the explosions that caused four gas leaks from Nord Stream 1 and 2 is" completed will it be possible to "determine with certainty what happened."
