On August 27, a man in his sixties was found shot dead at his home in Lectoure, in the Gers.

The body of the victim had been found a few days after the facts in his house, in open country.

This Friday, a 71-year-old former legionnaire was indicted on Friday for this murder and remanded in custody.

The man, suspected by the gendarmes, was arrested on Wednesday near Limoux, in the Aude department, before being taken into custody in Auch.

First led by the public prosecutor of Auch, the investigation was then taken in hand by an investigating judge from the criminal center of Agen.
