The American newspaper

'The New York Times'

has published an article with alleged intercepted conversations of Russian soldiers in the

war in Ukraine.

In them, the soldiers reflect on their feelings of frustration and pessimism about the progress of the

war

in conversations with their families.

"Putin is crazy. He wants to take kyiv, but we cannot do it", "Our offensive has stopped. We are losing this war", "We have lost half a regiment" or "When I return home I will leave the damned army" are some of the the phrases published by the newspaper and supposedly pronounced by the Russians.

These leaks come after the Kremlin affirmed on Wednesday that the

war in Ukraine

will continue after the incorporation of four Ukrainian regions, where in recent days they held annexation referendums, condemned by the international community.
