After authoritative verification, the China Internet joint rumor-repudiation platform centrally marked the rumor-repudiation label for public exposure and warning.

Weibo, Douyin, Baidu, Tencent and other website platforms carried out self-examination on the whole platform based on authoritative releases, and marked more than 80,000 existing rumors with refuting labels.

All key websites and platforms have set up rumor-refuting columns or special rumor-refuting accounts to promptly release authoritative rumor-refuting information, and accurately push relevant rumor-refuting content to users who have been exposed to rumors.

  According to the person in charge of the relevant unit of the Central Cyberspace Administration of China, marking the rumor-refuting label is an active exploration of online rumor-refuting work and an important measure to further rectify the chaos of online rumors.
