According to RIA Novosti, Paris, referring to the workload of the schedule of the Security Council, scheduled a meeting for Friday, not Thursday.

“I would like to express my dismay at the fact that you did not consider it possible to comply with our urgent request to convene a meeting of the Council today on the situation of sabotage regarding the Nord Stream pipeline.

As a result, we will now discuss the August report of the OPCW Director General, which clearly has no urgency, and a meeting on the significant dynamics of the situation around the Nord Stream, which threatens the energy security of the entire continent, will take place only tomorrow,” Polyansky said.

Russia is deeply disappointed with France's decision, he stressed.

The meeting of the Security Council on the issue of pipeline accidents is scheduled for 22:00 Moscow time on Friday, September 30th.

The Prosecutor General's Office of Russia initiated the initiation of a case on an act of international terrorism after the accidents on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.

The case is being investigated by the Federal Security Service.

The location of physical damage to both Nord Stream lines has been determined; they are located in the exclusive economic zone of Denmark and Sweden.
