Charlotte Reidhav, production manager at Eon, does not want to go into what the increased preparedness consists of.

But according to P4 Malmöhus, which was the first to report on the news, it is, among other things, about increased access controls and increased digital security.

- Due to the suspected sabotage on Nord Stream, which we at Eon perceive as directed at the energy sector - not at Sweden or Eon - we have chosen to increase our preparedness.

Haven't noticed any increased activity

Eon produces district heating and electricity in Örebro, Malmö, Stockholm and Norrköping and it is these facilities to which the heightened preparedness now applies.

Have you had contact with the defense or other authorities?

- No, it is our own responsibility because we have a business of social importance.

But we always have an ongoing dialogue with the Armed Forces and authorities.

Have you noticed any activity in the form of drones or anything else?

- No, luckily we haven't noticed that, says Charlotte Reidhav.
