China News Service, September 28. According to the WeChat public account of the Chinese Embassy in Spain, recently, Spanish colleges and universities have started school and resumed offline teaching, and the majority of overseas students have arrived in the West to return to school or report.

In order to help everyone study abroad safely and successfully, the Chinese Embassy in Spain warmly reminds:

  1. Do a good job in epidemic prevention and do not let your guard down.

At present, the epidemic is not over yet. Everyone must overcome paralysis and strengthen self-protection.

Pay attention to frequent hand washing and disinfection, wearing masks when going out, voluntarily vaccinating according to the situation, and developing good hygiene habits.

If you have suspected symptoms or confirmed infection, you should seek medical attention in time and follow the guidance of professional medical staff.

  2. Beware of telecommunication fraud and protect personal information.

At present, telecommunications fraud is still rampant, and fraud methods are constantly being renovated.

A few days ago, a foreign student received a phone call from a fraudster pretending to be a Chinese public prosecutor, falsely claiming that the student was "personally involved in a major money laundering case" and that he needed to cooperate with the domestic public security department to investigate and trick the parties into remittances.

Please be more vigilant and take precautions.

In case of suspected fraudulent phone calls, do not disclose personal information, be sure to think calmly, discuss with family members and friends, and take the initiative to contact relevant units to verify and then deal with them, so as to avoid being deceived.

  3. Improve safety awareness and strengthen safety precautions.

Pay attention to local security and traffic conditions, and pay attention to personal, property and travel safety.

Properly keep important documents and valuables, use water, electricity, gas and household appliances correctly, and do a good job of fire prevention and theft.

When you go out, try to accompany you as much as possible, and report the itinerary to your relatives and friends at the same time.

In case of emergencies, keep calm, respond rationally and call the police in time.

Fourth, pay attention to mental health and enrich the life of studying abroad.

Freshmen studying abroad should be familiar with the school's rules and regulations and local laws and regulations as soon as possible, actively participate in various activities organized by the school and the Student Union, and integrate into the campus and community life with a positive and optimistic attitude.

Students studying abroad should be friendly and help each other.

While arranging study and life, please be sure to keep communication open and keep in touch with your family members in China on a regular basis to avoid family worries.

I wish you all a safe, healthy, happy life and academic progress!
