Saldo turned to Putin with a proposal to take the Kherson region into Russia

“I, as the head of the Kherson region, on the basis of the will of the inhabitants of our region, appeal to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin with a proposal to accept the Kherson region as part of the Russian Federation as a new subject,” wrote Saldo in the Telegram channel.

The head of the Lugansk People's Republic, Leonid Pasechnik, also turned to the Russian leader with a request to consider joining the republic to Russia.

Earlier it was reported that the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin is holding a meeting with the leaders of the Duma factions, where the results of referendums in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions are discussed.
