Prime Minister Han Deok-soo met Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Kishida for about 20 minutes today (28th) at the Moto Akasaka Guesthouse in Tokyo and agreed on the need to improve relations.
Prime Minister Han said that Korea and Japan are close neighbors and important cooperative partners who share democratic values and market economy principles, and that young people from both countries want to understand each other.
He also said that an early improvement in the relationship between Korea and Japan was important for the common interest, and that a turning point for the improvement of relations had been prepared.
