To produce these 150 pages of report, Senators Alexandra Borchio-Fontimp (LR), Laurence Cohen (Communist), Laurence Rossignol (Socialist) and Annick Billon (Centrist) listened behind closed doors to dozens of testimonies for six months: those porn actors and actresses, doctors such as gynecologists, specialized journalists, police officers and lawyers, X film producers, etc.

The authors qualify certain hearings as “

testing

” and reveal, this is the starting point of the report: “

a porosity between pimping, prostitution and pornography

We are 4 senators of different political sensitivities, together we achieved a demanding consensus against the systemic violence of the #porn industry.

The porn industry facing justice

The middle of " amateur

" porn

has been in the sights of justice for two years with several complaints for "

rape in a meeting and aggravated trafficking in human beings

" against two giants of the sector including the famous

Jacquie and Michel

.

An actress who became a civil party to the “French Bukake” trial also told the reporters about the inhuman conditions of a shoot: “

This (sexual) scene ends, I go to the toilet and I bleed, it was not not in the script.

A second scene then begins on the floor.

From the beginning, they tried to dehumanize me, I ate dog food

”.

Faced with such atrocities, the senators decided to make some twenty proposals to sound the alarm.

The first of these is to open your eyes to the reality of the porn industry.

According to the document, 90% of pornographic scenes involve "

physical and verbal violence " and carry "

misogynistic, racist, lesbophobic and hypersexualized

" stereotypes

.

According to the report, porn generates “

systemic violence against women

”.

To fight against these excesses, the authors propose to inform consumers about the real conditions in which filming takes place.

Above all, they recommend strengthening the judicial arsenal to better protect actresses as well as increasing the means of magistrates and police officers in charge of investigations.

This also involves training the police, who, as was done for domestic violence, must learn to collect complaints from porn actresses.

Right to be forgotten and youth protection

Some actresses had to pay between 3,000 and 5,000 euros to remove online videos in which they appeared claiming their “

right to be forgotten

”.

This is on average ten times more than the sum they had received to shoot said scene.

The report therefore calls for the creation of a “

sexual violence

” category on the Pharos reporting platform and the distribution of fines to broadcasters and platforms that broadcast illegal content.

Another fight to be led according to the senators:

the prohibition of access of minors to pornography

.

In France, two thirds of people under 15 have already viewed pornographic images and 2.3 million young people under 18 watch them every month.

As a result, trauma, eating and sleeping disorders as well as complexes.

Consequently, the report urges broadcasters to find an effective technical solution to check the age before entering the site and requests, in the meantime, that parental controls be activated by default when a telephone subscription is taken out for a minor. .
