  According to public information, Liu Yanping was born in August 1955 in Fengnan, Hebei. He started working in April 1974 and joined the Communist Party of China in December 1979. He graduated from China University of Political Science and Law with a major in law.

  In March of this year, Liu Yanping was officially notified that he was suspected of serious violations of discipline and law and was under review and investigation.

Since then, the official has given him a notice of party discipline and government sanctions of expulsion from the party and public office.

His problems involve politics, organization, integrity, and other aspects. The statements in the report, such as "complete transformation in politics", "abuse of the power of public security guards", "extremely corrupt in life", and "extremely distorted view of power", have attracted wide attention.
