Erdogan says nuclear war will lead to global catastrophe

“The price of a transition to nuclear war is catastrophic.

We should not even think about it, let alone speak out, ”RIA Novosti quoted the Turkish leader as saying.

Erdogan noted the importance of diplomatic negotiations on the nuclear threat and nuclear disarmament.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov earlier noted that the inadmissibility of nuclear war is Russia's principled position.

The Foreign Ministry also reported that the use of nuclear reaction forces by Moscow, according to Russian military doctrine, is possible only in response to aggression.
