“The Il-76 aircraft, equipped with special medical models for the transportation of victims, took off from Izhevsk airport to Moscow,” the source said.

During the flight, the wounded will be accompanied by doctors from the Centrospas detachment and the Russian Ministry of Health.

Earlier, the press service of the government of Udmurtia, citing the Russian Investigative Committee, reported that the death toll in a school shooting in Izhevsk had risen to 17, of which 11 were children.

From 26 to 29 September, mourning for the dead was declared in Udmurtia.
