This is reported by the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung with reference to a document that Berlin sent to the leadership of other EU countries.

It is specified that the possible ban is related to the so-called strategic corruption.

The document says that "well-paid positions in government" can be called Russia's political influence on the EU countries.

Meanwhile, the ban does not apply to European subsidiaries of Russian companies.

Earlier it became known that the new package of anti-Russian sanctions by the EU contains a proposal to ban the export to Russia of smartphones, radar equipment, laser equipment and the provision of IT services to Russian clients.
