Putin called the situation with the export of grain from Ukraine a complete swindle

He said this during a meeting on the progress of seasonal field work.

According to him, grain from Ukraine continues to go past the poorest countries.

Putin noted that Russia is raising this topic, but no one is simply listening.

The President added that as of September 23, out of 203 ships that left the ports of Ukraine, only four went to the poorest countries under the UN program.

“Solid, it’s just uncomfortable to say, but this is a complete swindle - and nothing more,” the Russian president concluded.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and UN Secretary General António Guterres discussed the implementation of the Istanbul agreements on the export of Ukrainian food during negotiations on the sidelines of the 77th session of the General Assembly of the organization.
