This week is Crisis Preparedness Week and the county board wants to draw attention to the importance of households having a preparedness plan, for example if the electricity goes out.

- We received 185 expressions of interest, says Henrik Harr at the county administrative board.

Eight, one in each municipality, then received a box.

The eight test subjects had to represent different genders, ages, experiences and residences.

Maja Öst sees it as a fun challenge.

- I happened to see on my mobile that you could register, she says.

Actually, I haven't thought much about the fact that we could end up in crisis, but I will probably learn what to have at home.

May not use electricity

Maja picks up one after another from the box and is struck by how much there is.

- I can never eat this in three days, she says.

Test subjects may take water from the tap, but no electricity may be used when cooking food.

The County Administrative Board has filled the boxes according to the Swedish Food Agency's recommended Christmas food boxes.
