Parisa Golvani came to Sweden as a refugee from Iran in 1988. Today, she lives in Jönköping and follows from a distance the protests and unrest in her old homeland.

- We who stand outside and watch feel powerless.

At the same time, it is important that we act from all sides and try to bring about a change now, she says.

Parisa does not think that people and those in power in Sweden talk enough about the situation in Iran.

She thinks that everyone who has an influence should talk more about it.

- The people in the country are risking their lives to talk about this, then it is our duty to talk about it too.

"Human rights do not exist"

The Jönköping guy Daniel Heidari is half-Iranian.

He hopes that the current situation will lead to a change.

- We have seen how it has looked since 1979. I don't think it has gotten better, but rather more difficult for people.

Human rights do not exist but I hope we see a change soon.

This might be the start of something, he says.

In the clip above, you can hear Parisa and Daniel tell more about the situation in Iran.
