The epidemic curve in Italy is clearly rising.
There are 44,878 new cases of Covid in the last 24 hours, how many had not been seen for two months, against 10,008 yesterday and above all 28,395 last Tuesday.
The processed swabs are 243,421 (yesterday 65,697) with a positivity rate that rises from 15.2 to 18.4%.
There are 64 deaths today (32 yesterday), for a total of 176,976 since the beginning of the pandemic.
Intensive therapies drop by 2 units (yesterday +5) and are now 128 with 14 admissions per day;
ordinary hospitalizations are 192 more (yesterday +140), for a total of 3,653.
The region with the highest number of cases is also today Lombardy with 8,978, followed by Veneto (6,395), Piedmont (+4,561), Lazio (3,758) and Campania (+2,967).
The total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic rises to 22,358,487.
The discharged / healed in the last 24 hours are 27,854 (yesterday 10,828) for a total that rises to 21,737,122.
The currently positive ones rose by 16,957 units (yesterday -854) to 444,389, of which 440,608 in home isolation.
