In a normal year, room rents at Örebro University usually go up by approximately one to two million kroner.
This year, the forecast looks more gloomy.
- Although we do not know what the final amount will be, the forecast looks like there will be an increase of SEK 11 million, says Paula Björkman.
This is something that universities will be allowed to increase and only in mid-November will the university know for sure what the exact increase will land on.
The authority currently pays over SEK 194 million in rent.
And an increase may affect the business.
