China News Service, September 27 (Xinhua) According to a comprehensive report, on the 27th local time, the Swedish Maritime Administration issued a warning that the "Nord Stream-1" natural gas pipeline in the waters of Sweden and Denmark had leaked in two places.

A spokesman for the department said the leak occurred in the northeastern part of the Danish island of Bornholm and the cause was not yet known.

The Swedish Maritime Administration is stepping up its attention to avoid ships getting too close to the spill.

Not long ago, the Danish Maritime Administration reported on the 26th that there was a natural gas leak in the "North Stream-2" pipeline, which was also located near Bornholm Island.

On the same day, Nord Stream 2 AG, the operator of the gas pipeline, said there had been a pressure drop in the pipeline.

On the 27th, Nord Stream AG, the operator of the Nord Stream pipeline, said that three pipelines at Nord Stream had suffered "unprecedented" damage in a short period of time, and it was not possible to estimate the time for repairing the facility at this time.

According to the TASS news agency, the Russian President's press secretary said that "any possibility cannot be ruled out" for the claim that the "pipeline may be damaged".

He said the pressure drop in the Nord Stream pipeline was an "unprecedented situation" that required an urgent investigation.

"Beixi-1" and "Beixi-2" are two almost parallel natural gas pipelines, with a total length of more than 1,200 kilometers, from Russia to Germany through the territorial waters of Finland, Sweden and Denmark.

Since June this year, Gazprom (Gazprom) has gradually reduced the natural gas delivered to Germany via the "Beixi-1" pipeline on the grounds that Siemens did not return the turbines sent by Gazprom for repair in time.

On September 2, Gazprom stated that due to the discovery of multiple equipment failures, the "Beixi-1" natural gas pipeline will completely stop gas transmission until the failure is eliminated.

"Beixi-2" is a cooperative project between Gazprom and five European companies, which can deliver 55 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Europe every year.

Affected by the changes in the situation in Russia and Ukraine, the German government announced on February 22 that it would suspend the certification process of the "Beixi-2" project.

Since then, many politicians in Germany have called on the government to launch the "North Stream-2" to alleviate the current energy problem, but it was rejected by German Chancellor Scholz.
