Since the death of their great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, George, Charlotte and Louis, the children of William and Kate, have changed their surnames.

Until then Princes and Princess of Cambridge, the three children, aged 9, 7 and 4, now bear the title of Princes and Princess of Wales, reports the British magazine

Their parents, who were Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, became Prince and Princess of Wales (Prince and Princess of Wales, in English).

It is therefore under the name of Wales that their children are now registered in their school.

William, first heir to the crown

The children of the royal couple have also changed schools at the start of the school year.

They now study at Lambrook School, near Adelaide Cottage, the family's new home in Berkshire.



Charles III was officially proclaimed King of England on Saturday September 10.

In accordance with the order of succession to the British throne, his son William becomes the heir to the crown.
