It was around 8:20 a.m. that lights and appliances went out for approximately 2,400 subscribers in the western parts of Katrineholm.
A maintenance work at an electricity station on Källmogatan went wrong and a short circuit occurred.
One of the people who worked at the site is said to have been exposed to some type of electric shock and one person was taken to hospital.
But the damage should not be serious according to the management at the Technical Works.
- It is a purely routine measure in an event like this.
By all accounts, the person is doing well, says Peter Ström, press officer at the Technical Works.
The power outage lasted approximately 15 minutes.
