In the program "La France moves", the Secretary of State for Children Charlotte Caubel announced that a prevention campaign against school bullying and online bullying would be launched this Wednesday.

Three numbers will be set up: 30 20, 30 18 and 119.

One in ten children has already been the victim of bullying, recalls Charlotte Caubel, Secretary of State for Children.

, the magistrate announced the launch of a prevention campaign against this phenomenon at school and online from this Wednesday.

The Secretary of State who succeeded Adrien Taquet explains why it was decided to use three different numbers.

"There is a specificity. Within the school, school bullying justifies that the National Education has taken up this subject and that the listeners are teachers or managers who accompany the children with their reading of things."

A testimony of harassment in the preparatory-professional class

Charlotte Caubel continues: "In terms of digital harassment, there is also a specificity. Listeners at 119, fundamentally focused on children in danger, violence, abuse, did not necessarily have all the skills to support on the digital harassment, which is a bit specific. So these are different professions, "insists the magistrate.

Children who call these numbers can benefit from anonymity.

In this campaign, Élian Potier, president of the Urgence harassement association, recounts his unfortunate experience when he was in the third preparatory-professional class.

"I suffered teasing, insults in the playground, in the toilets, in class. It lasted throughout my year. My mother saw that I was not well, that I was getting sick of it. 'go to school,' he recalled in an excerpt.

Three issues also open to adults

Ultimately, it is the teenagers themselves who are the ambassadors in the fight against this scourge.

"There is no better ambassador for a child than another child", remarks the Secretary of State.

“They have an extremely adapted reading grid, they are at child height. So the National Education has appointed ambassadors and trained them to accompany, identify. It is a completely effective solution”, relates Charlotte Caubel.

If there is also the possibility of entering a case of harassment in writing, the three numbers are also open to adults, adds the Secretary of State.

"They should not hesitate to call since they are entitled to the same process of anonymity. (...) I had the opportunity to listen to 119, and there are mothers, grandmothers or parents who can call to exchange with listeners on the reality of what they have been able to discover and how they can manage it."
