The Russian Ministry of Defense issued an announcement on September 25 saying that Ukraine continued to carry out provocations near the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

The announcement stated that Ukrainian artillery shells from the Dnipropetrovsk region shelled residential areas in the city of Ener Godar and areas near the nuclear power plant, firing a total of 59 artillery shells, one of which hit a canal near the nuclear power plant.

The Ukrainian army also launched eight suicide drones in an attempt to attack the nuclear power plant area, all of which were intercepted by the Russian army outside the nuclear power plant area.

The announcement said that the radiation situation near the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant was normal.

The Ukrainian side has not responded to this.
