The formal cooperation between SD, M, KD and L has meant that the Sweden Democrats have for the first time been given chair positions in the Riksdag's committees.

According to the party's legal policy spokesperson Tobias Andersson, the SD should have received four chairman posts and four deputy chairman posts.

They are usually keen to get vice chairmanships if they don't get the chairmanship, says Hans Hegeland, political scientist and former moderate Riksdag official who today works as a committee adviser in the finance committee's office.
