“We would also like to have concrete, definite security guarantees for Belarus,” he said.
According to Makei, Minsk is interested in peaceful life in the region.
He also recalled that earlier the Belarusian side announced its intention to participate in the final agreements between Russia and Ukraine.
Earlier, State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Alexander Volfovich called for a quick settlement of the conflict in Ukraine through peaceful negotiations.
Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that negotiations with Kyiv are in demand for Moscow to achieve its goals, but the Russian side sees no prerequisites for resuming this process.
