WhatsApp, Meta's instant messaging service, will introduce call links this week.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced it on Facebook.

Users, it is announced, will be able to select the "Link for call" option in the "Calls" section, get the link for an audio or video call and share it with family and friends, as can be seen in the illustration.
