At least four dead and 13 others were injured in violent clashes that broke out yesterday between two Libyan armed groups in the city of Zawiya, about 45 kilometers west of Tripoli.

Local media reported it, reporting the use of heavy weapons.

Many civilians would have been trapped by the fighting, so much so that the Libyan Red Crescent has launched an appeal for an immediate suspension of hostilities to allow them to move away from the areas affected by the violence.
