While more than 1,200 demonstrators were arrested in Iran on the 10th day of nightly protests against the death of young Mahsa Amini, rallies in support took place in many major cities around the world.

In Iran, at least 41 people have been killed, according to an official report including demonstrators and police repressing this protest movement triggered by the death of this 22-year-old woman.

She had been arrested by the morality police for "inappropriate wearing of clothes", the dress code for women being strict in Iran, in particular the wearing of the Islamic veil.
