On Monday, electricity in southern Sweden, electricity areas 3 and 4, cost SEK 1.30 per kWh.

On Tuesday, a kWh (kilowatt hour) in the same area costs 52.4 öre.

Low pressure and windier value forecasts are doing their part to speed up the wind turbines.

In the north, electricity areas 1 and 2, the electricity price drops from 62.7 öre to 51.6 öre per kWh.

That the price differences between northern and southern Sweden are so small is now among the unusual.

On top of the market price, the electricity trading companies' mark-up, tax and VAT plus electricity grid fee are added.

The price of individual days matters most for those with an hourly price.

The vast majority who have variable electricity price agreements pay an average price for the month.

On the night of Tuesday, the electricity price for individual hours is 14–15 öre per kWh throughout Sweden.
