The positivity rate was substantially stable, 15.2% (yesterday 15.4%) with 121,510 processed swabs.
The effects on the health system
The number of hospitalizations from Covid in Italy is rising today:
+140 patients in the ordinary wards
of hospitals reaching 3,461 and
+5 patients in intensive care
for a total of 130.
The total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic rises to 22,313,612.
The discharged / healed in the last 24 hours are 10,828 (yesterday 13,494) for a total that rises to 21,709,268.
The currently positive
decrease of 854 units (yesterday +5,287) becoming

, of which 423,841 in home isolation.

The region with the highest number of cases is also today Lombardy with 1,452, followed by Emilia Romagna (1,178), Lazio (1,141), Veneto (1,026) and Piedmont (934).
