"Condolence diplomacy" will soon begin following the "state funeral" of former Prime Minister Abe.

On the first day, the 26th, Prime Minister Kishida will hold talks with Vice President Harris of the United States.

"Condolence diplomacy" with foreign dignitaries who visited Japan to attend the "state funeral" of former Prime Minister Abe will be held from the 26th to the 28th at the Guest House in Minato Ward, Tokyo.

Over the three days, Prime Minister Kishida plans to hold individual talks with about 40 people, exceeding the initial schedule. I will meet with the surplus people.



There will also be a dinner with Vice President Harris.



On the 27th, the day of the "state funeral", a meeting will be held with Indian Prime Minister Modi and Australian Prime Minister Albanyjee, and on the 28th with Korean Prime Minister Han Duk Soo and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen.



Through a series of "condolence diplomacy," Prime Minister Kishida hopes to convey his intention to inherit and develop Mr. Abe's diplomatic legacy both domestically and internationally.



On the other hand, about 4,300 people from Japan and abroad are expected to attend the "national funeral" on the 27th, and the venue, Nippon Budokan and its surroundings will be under strict security and traffic control will be implemented.
