China News Service, September 26. According to the Argentine Chinese Network, the Argentine government recently passed Resolution No. 5260/2022, reducing the limit for purchasing goods abroad by express delivery from 3,000 US dollars to 1,000 US dollars.

The measure has been implemented since the 23rd, including natural and legal persons, and is regulated by the Argentine Federal Administration of Public Revenue (AFIP).

In this case, the new regulations apply to those who pass through courier services "for individuals or legal entities, consisting of not more than 3 items of the same type and not for commercial purposes, the total weight of the mail does not exceed 50 kilograms, the free on board (FOB) value does not exceed $1,000" inbound mail package.

It is understood that the measure previously stipulated that the total amount should not exceed 3,000 US dollars, and now the limit is reduced to 1,000 US dollars; at the same time, Article 7 related to the import and export of simplified forms of consumption has also been revised.

From now on, "the FOB value of goods exported by each sender shall not exceed US$3,000", while the FOB value of goods imported by the same recipient shall not exceed US$1,000 and the total weight shall not exceed 50 kilograms.

In addition, goods that can be mail-ordered from abroad, including food, clothing, toys, technology products, decorations, etc., should always be ensured for personal use rather than commercial use, with a total weight of no more than 50 kg and no more than 1,000 US dollars.
