A 7-year-old girl died after a road accident in Verchers-sur-Layon (Maine-et-Loire), this Saturday, around 6 p.m.

The little girl was transported in absolute urgency to the Angers hospital center but finally succumbed to her injuries in the evening. 

Victim's twin brother seriously injured

His twin brother was also seriously injured in the accident.

His life would no longer be in danger, according to the regional daily.

The mother is also off the hook. 

In the other car, which was not damaged, a pregnant woman in shock was taken care of by the emergency services.
