The power of the people and the government have decided to isolate 450,000 tons of rice from the market, the largest ever in history, in order to stabilize the price of rice, which has recently fallen sharply.

Park Jeong-ha, senior spokesperson for the People's Power, said at a briefing on the results of the high-level party and government council, "This measure can be said to be a 'faster and larger' drastic harvest season measure than in 2017, when the price of rice rose through market quarantine." We added 200,000 tons more to the expected production of 250,000 tons, and we also included Gugok produced last year.”

Regarding the 'Amendment to the Grain Management Act' promoted by the Democratic Party, Senior Spokesperson Park said, "It is a 'mandatory purchase of surplus rice law' that mandates market isolation. We shared the perception that it is big."

The party also decided to delete the 'non-intentional punishment' clause for simple stalking crimes and add online stalking to the punishment target.

Senior Spokesperson Park added, "We have decided to actively review detention and provisional measures for stalking, which is concerned about repeated harm, and take strict measures against leakage of personal information that causes stalking crimes."
