In an interview with NHK on the 25th, Iran's Oil Minister Ozzi, who is visiting Japan, said, "We are making efforts to attract investment from abroad." He expressed his intention to strengthen relations with friendly countries in the energy field, even if it is not possible.

Iranian Oil Minister Ozzi, who came to Japan to attend the state funeral of former Prime Minister Abe, responded to an NHK interview in Tokyo on the 25th.

Iran is facing difficulties in negotiations with the United States to restore the nuclear deal, and there is no prospect of the economic sanctions being lifted.

Regarding this, Oil Minister Ozi emphasized, "Iran is making efforts to attract foreign investment without waiting for the revival of the nuclear deal. We are ready to accept 100% investment from Japanese companies."

In addition, he clarified that Iran has a production capacity of 4 million barrels per day of crude oil, which exceeds the level before sanctions, and appealed to Japanese companies to consider entering the Iranian market in the future.

He also said, ``We are able to increase crude oil exports to some countries,'' with China in mind. He also mentioned that even under sanctions, he expressed his intention to strengthen relations with friendly countries such as Russia and China in the energy field.
