The best of luck was with the Iraqi Sondos Ali (52 years old), and she was the first in her studies, until a stray bullet made her completely paralyzed in 1985 and cut her spinal cord. During the external examinations in 2003 for the third secondary stage, she was the first in her class.

Not only did she stop at this point, but she also took external exams for the high school stage in 2007, and got an average of 99%, and this is what qualified her to enter the Faculty of Law at Salah al-Din University in Erbil, where she graduated with distinction, and was appointed as a teaching assistant in her college, and she obtained a master’s in 2015 And her ambition expanded further for the Ph.D., and she was accepted into it in 2020 after passing the competitive exam, and now she is writing her thesis.

With the will and self-reliance and not to give up, Sondos Ali was able to face the bullying of her society because she was paralyzed, but her faith in herself made her learn to sew in order to secure a living for herself while a third of it is disabled to complete her studies and continue to live despite its cruelty.
