Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman discussed with Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin yesterday, Saturday, bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to develop them in various fields.

This came during Mohammed bin Salman's reception of Qalan and Turkish Minister of Treasury and Finance Noureddine Nebti at the Peace Palace in Jeddah, according to the official Saudi Press Agency.

The agency stated that "during the reception, aspects of bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing them in various fields were reviewed, in addition to discussing cooperation on a number of issues of common interest."

She pointed out that Kalin "transmitted the greetings of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and his Crown Prince."

For its part, the Turkish Anadolu Agency reported that Turkish-Saudi relations began to develop after the Turkish president's visit, which it described as historic, to the kingdom last April.
