The ground forces of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards announced that they bombed with artillery the headquarters they described as hostile terrorist and planning and plotting centers in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

The Revolutionary Guards said in a statement that the bombing came in response to targeting Iranian border sites, stressing that the military operations were to ensure the security of the border areas.

The statement held the authorities of the Kurdistan region of Iraq responsible for preventing the activity of anti-Iranian groups from the region, and added that the targeting came despite previous warnings by officials in the region, and the statement called on the residents to stay away from the headquarters of the targeted terrorist groups, as he described it.

There was no immediate statement from the Iraqi authorities regarding the bombing.
