Therese Mårtensson's family in Krokom has a trip booked to Alanya in Turkey with the travel company Detur in early October. After the company's announcement yesterday that they are suspending all operations for the rest of the year, it is not known what happened to the trip. - We have been looking forward to this and were going to go with another family, but then we saw in the newspapers that people had been thrown out of hotels in Turkey, says Therese.
Therese's family has now tried to get in touch with Detur without success.
Attempts have also been made to contact the hotel in Turkey without success.
However, via the company that flies, we have been told that there are no flights from Frösön.
What happened to the trip you booked, or if you will get any money back, is currently unknown.
- You feel cheated, that we booked and paid for a trip that may never have existed.
Everything feels like a fraud actually, says Therese Mårtensson.
