In Vendée, a school temporarily moves because of a colony of rats

For ten days, there has not been a cat in the nursery school Les Jardins, in Montaigu (Vendée).

, these rodents have seriously disrupted the start of the school year to such an extent that the establishment has been temporarily relocated.

The fifty or so children are exceptionally welcomed at the extracurricular centre, a few minutes' walk away.

According to the daily, the alert was first given by teachers who discovered excrement on the day of pre-school.

But despite the intervention of a specialized company, new traces appeared and a rat was even seen in the kitchen ten days later.

Enough for town hall and national education to decide on a temporary move.

The return to the premises is expected for the month of October.
