The Federal Center for Competitiveness and Statistics revealed that the UAE ranked first globally and in the Arab world in 14 indicators of global competitiveness related to the country's attraction of youth, according to reports issued by international organizations and institutions concerned with global competitiveness, which supports its position as a main preferred destination for young people from all over the world to live, reside, work and study.

In detail, the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Center explained that the UAE ranked first in the world in seven global competitive indicators related to the country's attraction of youth, according to these reports.

In the latest indicators of competitiveness, which "Emirates Today" obtained a copy of, the center explained that the UAE ranked first in the world in the index of the proportion of students enrolled in higher education from abroad to the country, according to the Global Innovation Index 2021, issued by INSEAD, and the UAE also came Ranked first in the world in the number of international students, according to the Global Talent Competitiveness Index 2021, issued by INSEAD.

The center noted that the UAE ranked first in the world in the index of the availability of skilled labor, according to the Global Talent Report 2021, issued by the International Institute for Management Development, and ranked first in the world in the index of the movement of higher education students into the country, according to the Competitiveness Yearbook report Global 2022, published by the International Institute for Management Development.

The UAE also ranked first globally in two other indicators related to attracting young people, namely: the indicator of the country's ability to attract talent, and the indicator of tolerance with foreigners, according to the report of the 2021 Prosperity Index issued by the Legatum Institute.

At the same time, the Federal Center said that the competitiveness indicators revealed that the UAE ranked first in the Arab world in seven competitive indicators at the Arab level related to the state's attraction of youth, according to reports issued by a number of the largest international organizations and institutions concerned with global competitiveness.

The center explained that the UAE ranked first in the Arab world in three indicators related to youth: the availability of global expertise, the availability of digital and technological skills, and the percentage of the population with higher education, according to the Digital Competitiveness Yearbook 2022 report issued by the International Institute for Management Development.

The UAE also ranked first in the Arab world in four other indicators related to attracting young people: indicators of having programs to motivate employees, quality of life, availability of global expertise, and language skills, according to the Global Talent Report 2021, issued by the International Institute for Management Development.

The UAE ranked first globally in the indicator of availability of skilled workers, according to the Global Talent Report.
