China News Service, September 22. According to the WeChat public account of the Chinese Embassy in Iran, recently, the number of Chinese citizens traveling to Iran temporarily for business or tourism has gradually increased.

The embassy noticed that some self-media bloggers insisted on traveling even after they exposed themselves to the new crown pneumonia, and some were detained by the Iraqi police for watching and filming social security incidents in Iran.

Last year, three Chinese nationals were sentenced and deported in Iraq for filming inappropriate videos and sensitive facilities.

The Chinese Embassy in Iran specially reminds Chinese citizens in Iran:

  1. The current global COVID-19 epidemic is still very severe, and traveling abroad still faces greater health risks. Please adhere to the principle of "non-essential, no travel".

Chinese citizens in Iraq must attach great importance to the local epidemic situation, establish awareness of normalized prevention and control of the epidemic, carefully and fully assess the serious consequences of cross-infection, staying abroad, and long quarantine periods that may be caused by current international travel, and plan cross-border travel carefully.

Strictly abide by the epidemic prevention regulations, do personal protection, and avoid going to crowded places or participating in gathering activities such as dinner parties.

  2. Be sure to abide by local laws, regulations and customs, respect different religious beliefs, and pay attention to words and deeds and personal cultivation.

Don't casually approach and photograph Iranian women without permission; don't photograph sensitive facilities.

  3. Pay close attention to the local security situation at any time, tighten the security strings at all times, and do not take chances.

In the event of a group or public security incident, please avoid the crowded section, do not watch, take pictures, or argue to ensure the safety of yourself and your personal property.
